Day tour - Shopping in Chiang Mai:
Silver shop/ The House/Wawarot market/Airport Plaza/Ban Tawai/Nightbazaar or Sunday market
?9 a.m. pick up from the hotel.
Just around the corner from there, we visit the shop of a jewellery designer, who offers creative silver jewellery.
After that, we will stop by a wonderful boutique with exclusive garments, jewellery and living accessories.
Then we will drive to the Chinese Quarter at the Warorot market, where we stroll through small boutique shops selling traditional Thai garments as well as fashion clothing from India.
Also fabrics, pillowcases, bags of all kinds are available here.
On it goes crossing the river to the other side, where we will visit 2 old colonial houses, where artisan handicrafts are offered.
Subsequently, we’ll have lunch in a beautiful old colonial tea house at the river (club sandwich and ice tea).
After lunch, we’ll embark on a 20-minutes ride to the famous handicraft village Ban Tawai outside Chiang Mai, where we will stop by some interesting shops selling art and living accessories. You will also have the opportunity for a leisurely stroll on the villages’ main market.
On the way back, we will stop at Chiang Mai’s biggest shopping center. Tell our guide, what you’re looking for and he will show you to the appropriate shops.
Around 6 p.m., you’ll be brought back to your hotel.
Or we can bring you directly to the night bazaar or to the Sunday market, where you can spent the evening strolling the shops and stands and then return to the hotel by taxi on your own.
By then, you’ll have a long shopping day behind you and we hope that you were able to score some beautiful items.
