Day Tour No. 107
Elephant riding - Elephant show - Lanna National park lake - lunch on the lake - kajaking - swimming
Pick-up at the hotel about 8.30 - 9 a.m.
Our 40-minutes ride will bring us to the Mae Sa Elephant Camp.
At this camp, the elephants are treated very well and species-appropriate, which is a very important aspect in our choice. We will see a nice show, in which the elephants demonstrate their learned skills. Particularly the artists amongst them highly impress visitors with their trunk paintings. After this, you’ll take a 1-hour ride on a pachyderm’s back through the jungle, ensued by a stroll through the camp, where the elephants are going to be delighted to be fed by you.
And on it goes with our tour, to the Lanna National Park, 30 minutes away from the camp.
After arrival at the Lanna National Park, we’ll board a longtail boat for our way across the reservoir, a unique scenic experience: crystal clear water, surrounded by green hills.
Here, you can enjoy swimming, paddling on the lake and letting yourself dry in the sun.
In the lake’s floating restaurant, you’ll be served fresh fish from the lake for lunch (other dishes are also available).
You’ll have the whole afternoon to spend time at the lake, before, at about 5 p.m., we will embark our boat for our return trip to the pier and from there on by car back to the city, where you’ll arrive at your hotel about 6 p.m.
